Dublin City Fans should tune into Anna Livia 103.2 FM tomorrow night for the Eircom League football show The Absolute Game. One of the guests scheduled to be interviewed is Dublin City Manager Dermot Keely and he will be talking about recent signings, plans for the new season etc.

Thanks for that, will try and tune in. His signings look good so far, a win against Pats where we looked very strong and walked past St Pats CY today 4-0 at a canter, looking like we should be in contension.

You took one hour of my life and I want it back! Listened to that entire show and there wasn't one mention of Dermot Keely. Had to listen to a guy speaking so slowly he was almost in reverse, and talking like a clown about fraternising with Roddy Collins, and how "mature" the "new Roddy" is... :eek:
It was truly one of the worst hours of radio I have ever had the displeasure of listening to. I know some very respectible EL fans who are regular listeners, and I can appreciate that they actually discuss the league...but jesus christ that show makes EL weekly look like a Spielberg epic...

Dermot Keely was uncontactable during the program or before it.
He was supposed to be available to talk about Dublin City around 7 :30

Ah fair enough, I've been on Newstalks sport show a few times and I know how things can get delayed etc. To be honest I was in a bit of a fouler because I insisted to the missus that we couldn't go out until Dermot had been on...it being Valentine's night there was naturally a row and in the end I was in the doghouse for nothing! :o

Sorry if my post landed you in the doghouse.... maybe that's why Dermo's phone was switched off.... February 14 etc.
