Just heard it finished one all. Loads of changes at half time. Match wasn't great, and there was a terrible wind.

In todays game at UL, which finished, one apiece, Cork had as far as I could see two new coaches. John Gill formally of Dublin City and a new goalkeeping coach Kevin Fitzpatrick ex of Limerick.

John Gill???
But didn't he give up managing CHF because he couldn't spare so much time away from work?
Would he just have been helping out, I wonder?

the fact that fitzpatrick was involved too would suggest so. still, the club have said nothing yet.

John Gill hasn't joined City. He was helping out for the weekend. Whether he will join remains to be seen.

He did look good, scored with an excellent header. The lad Roy whatever who's training with you though is no way worth a contract. I'd ditch him sharpish!

Maybe they were there for the whole weekend in which case his help was useful?

Good appointment in my opinion. Shame that Limerick released him.

Though am I the only one who think's it's kinda zany that Dolan (who doesn't bother with sub keepers) has appointed a goalkeeping coach? I am, aren't I?

No I agree with you. Devine is an experienced player and poor old McNulty (who is a fantastic keeper) never gets a game
