Paul Finucane has signed a three year deal with Limerick, according to a report in today's Star.

Discussions are also ongoing with Conor Molan.

Good news I'm sure everybody will agree.

Less good are the suggestions that Jimmy Fyffe, James Sugrue and Keith Hartnett are all looking unlikely to be seen in Limerick blue next season (though naturally Fyffe probably wouldn't have worn blue anyway unless we had a player crisis like last year)

I was under the impression that Sugrue had been signed up by the club. Was it not in the news about roughly a month ago that we announced that the four Kerry boys would be with us again for the new season.

It's good that Finny is staying on, I hope they offered a loyal and good player like him more than €50 a week though ;)

Good to see Finny and the lads staying on, exactly what we need in our team/squad. Good to see Nempton on at the same time as myself and all! Wheres the e mails you muppet!?!

It was announced at the time yeah but now apparently he's not signed up. Who knows what the story is really?

I was talking to a group of Limerick supporters from Listowel before the Ireland game in Dublin on wednesday, and they were pretty adament that all the Kerry boys had re-signed for next season??? Can't understand why Keith Hartnett won't be re-signing...

It's in the Leader this week that Molan has signed with Finucane. It also said that NOC is on the brink of signing a right sided player from a premier division club - any ideas? KOB? Another press conference as well apparantly in the next 10 days, where there will be 'another major announcement'. All this from Jerome O'Connell. More credible than John O'Shaughnessy I hope

Apparently he's not happy with the terms being offered.

I can confirm about James. He is gone by all accounts as well as David Conway but the latter is not confirmed.

We are going to get some more players this week Warren is on the way apparently.

Bad news about Jamesie - hope it doesn't affect Steven O'Mahoney's position. Absolutely fantastic news about Dave Warren. Wouldbe brilliant if it happens. :ball:
