We will be playin in the 3rd round of the Leinster Senior Cup.

Firhouse Clover/Evergreen FC v Kilbarrack United/Longford Town

Regardless of who we will be playin, it will be the first time we will meet any of those team in our long league of ireland history. Evergreen are they from Kilkenny?

Actually, I see the difference you're talking about now.

I think that's what clubs were sent out by the FAI - so yeah, there must be a second round match still outstanding. Never really seen a draw like that before, but I guess this is the LSC...

I dont know about ye but the way that draw was explained on extratime is very confusing and not well explained.. I had thought of it in a particular way but I cant remember my observation as I would further confuse myself!

I've just realised that De Town will be having a competitive game before they have even played a friendly with the new squad, crazy stuff, is it to late to get another friendly organised, are the powers that be really expecting De Town to play a knock out game before having ever played together

That's been happening for years now, the Leinster senior cup is only a Mickey Mouse tournament, I think it's great that it's played in pre season, gives the game that little bit more of an edge over a friendly. Should be a good test for the boys

I think thats the way the draw is meant to be
Senior teams enter at the 4th Round

There wouldnt be much between Evergreen or Kilbarrack with Paddy Powers betting 5/4 both teams and 14-5 the draw.
Id say Firhouse would be only slight favourites in the 3rd Round
Longford would only be about 1-2 then as they dont seem to bother with this prestigeous Cup!

havent being up there since 03 since Kilkenny City knocked us of the FAI cup there! that was AMS first campaign with us.

That will be the first time in our history that the two sides have met! I believe that if the games around that area it will be in Tallaght IT a place I have never being in.

Given our schedule, it'll likely be played midweek. I don't think the ITT pitch has floodlights so an alternative venue will be needed

The date has being confirmed on our website for firhouse clover match. It is in tallaght IT on Sunday 12th march for 2pm.
