Result from last weekend: AUL 2, Wexford League 2.

No Sheriff YC or Kilbarrack players in squad for AUL and only 1 East WaLL player thus the top 3 teams not supplying players for AUL team this season for some unknown reason resulting in a very young capable squad.

Carlow,Kilkenny,LSL and NEFL group results so far

Carlow 5-0 Kilkenny
NEFL 1-3 LSL
LSL 1-0 Carlow

Kilkenny have withdrawn in tiis ultra competitive group leaving 3 very good teams fighting it out for 2 spots and LSL now qualified!Looks like a shootout in Carlow to see who joins them.

Wexford Football League beat the AUL 3-0 in the quarter-final in Ferrycarrig today. Didn't get to see it but sounds like a very good result.

So I've been looking around online for a history/overview of this competition and I can't find much.
I can find plenty about Oscar Traynor, but little about his cup. It's an inter-league competition but also the Defense Forces are involved?Do the leagues take it seriously?
