Surprised McGettigans let them have the sponsorship so small, I didn't even notice it at first
It's growing on me but still no 100% sure

Same here missed it until I read your post. I think Celtic had a similar sponsor size with tenants one year when they had their 125 year jersey out.

They did indeed. As did Man City when they had their sash a few years back.

I can't find the photo, but I saw one of Tommy McConville in action once, around 1980 wearing a classic Dundalk top with 'harp ' in small letters on the left top side of the jersey. Harp only came onboard as main sponsors and regular size logo around 1986, so the small letters was probably a trial, maybe for a cup or European run.

Harps kit seems to be complete Marmite, I don't hate it but I'm not sure if I like it yet!!

That Harps kit is great. Real retro 19th century feel to it. Matches the experience of watching Harps in general.

I like that Harps shirt particularly the way the sponsorship is done. Don't expect much in terms of merchandise from Joma. That Shams kit has Sligo Rovers 1998 written all over it.
Wasn't too sure on first view of Harps kit but it really growing on me, really old school look
Think it needs a bigger one then looks a bit plain to me.
If the sponsors are happy with the small logo, why the hell would you want a big logo? Unless you a corporate puppet of course

If only there was a reason given as to why I would want a bigger logo in the post you quoted something along the lines of "looks a bit plain to me".

It's really dividing opinion of Harps fans but I think it's fantastic.
I like it. Has that South American feel to it.

The non-photoshopped graphic version of the Harps jersey. Crest and sponsor woven into the fabric. I really think this is one of the finest kits Harps have ever produced.

Thats why your a corporate puppet, sure sponsors names on kits have only being about since the late 70's you have been conditioned to think it looks plain without by the corporations ;).
Only joking, but I don't understand why you would want a name of some company plastered across your team's kit, unless of course you are in charge of promoting said company
Great blog on the thinking behind the design of gufc 2017 1st Strip by the excellent Morgan O'Brien http://morganobrienart.blogspot.ie/2016/12/designing-new-galway-united-2017-home.html?m=1

Looks better in the flesh. The previous promo image of it made it look like a Thunderbirds outfit.
Though I bet you lots of people think it's for a team called McGettigans :). Probably a GAA team, as it has that sort of ring to it.
Bought my gufc jersey this evening absolute Class nicest GUFC Jersey ever . Well done to Morgan O'Brien ,Peter Carpenter and Uhlsport a real classic thank you.The spioraid Na Gaillimhe is a lovely touch .

Are Macron Ireland back in business? Really do like these. I'd welcome them doing back Town kits. The ones Longford Town had that were never worn, were really were excellent, not impressed with Legea quality at all.

The ones we never wore were p1ss. Legea is far nicer although I agree the quality isn't that of a top brand. Those shel jerseys look like polo tops.

You do realise its straight out of a catalogue. Like all the Joma stuff in Ireland.

The away one is nice but the home one looks more like a polo shirt (partly because of the collar).

It's a picture of dalymount. Something to do with celebrating being the home of Irish football or something to that effect.

Do you know when the Finn Harps online shop is getting sorted btw ? It's been down for weeks now - if not months - whilst the stock apparently gets added : http://www.finnharps.com/fhfc/?page_id=443
I've been trying to get into it regularly to check out buying the kit, but it's permanently not happening. The new season is barely 3 weeks away now !

The shop has been built for some time but there's been issues regarding stock with the previous supplier.
Mr A might be able to answer this better than me, but I think it's a case of waiting for an order to arrive before shop goes online.

Another two weeks on, and the Harps online store is still not up.
My interest in buying one of their new home shirts is waning fast I'm afraid.

New Wexford jersey, along with the other First Division kits. For me, the big silver lining of the winding up order is a blacker, less gaudy kit design. Not universally popular but this is definitely my favourite Wexford kit so far.
The sponsor is local charity, which will be used for the first game or until a main corporate sponsor is found.

As atrocious as the Wexford sponsor logo is, it's still an improvement on previous jerseys.
Of course two jerseys with no sponsor are great for the image of the First Division as well.

The organisation on the front of our shirt is not a 'sponsor' but I know what you mean by that. Their multi coloured logo represents the wide community base that they represent and wasn't designed with our shirt in mind. I prefer to buy jackets, rather than shirts anyway

And a smart idea to put the two sponsor-less jerseys right at the front of the photo where everyone can clearly see their big blank space.
Is it a new departure for Cobh not to have any sky blue on their shirt ? And is Cabo's home shirt not usually a green one ?

There's two in the Premier Division line up as well (3 if you assume that most people would think Harps aren't sponsored if they saw the jersey form afar)

Athlones is just Brays in Blue. It's a standard Nike jersey a lot of junior clubs wear also.

That whole mass-standardisation of kits across football is ridiculous. Especially when you consider the huge mark up on what costs less than a Euro to manufacture in the first place.
