New members of foot.ie

A friend of mine, to whom I've been raving about this site for a while, tried to sign up to foot.ie the other day but wasn't able to, he said that the administrator wasn't accepting new members or something like that. What's the story? No new signings or is my friend deluded?

Registration is back now. I disable registrations periodically to prevent abuse. Registrations have to be approved by me, I usually get around to them once a day. Registrations that use other people's names, ALL CAPS, or are generally offensive, are deleted.
