Anyone have any good fonts for use in a college essay. The usuals have made me quite bored.

Helvetica is the best font around.
Cheers, after much messing around I've decided on Verdana.
Now all I have to do is write the bloody thing!
Virtually no difference between Arial & Veranda besides veranda being slightly larger for same selection.
I've never liked Times Roman.

Just a bit of useless information. Newspapers use serif fonts because they are easier to read. Serif fonts are fonts like Times, New Century Schoolbook and New York. Sans Serif are the fonts like Verdana, Arial and Helvetica. The term serif means 'tail' (latin, I think), so the fonts are literally described as being with or without tail.

As a Mac user at work, I absolutely detest using the likes of Times New Roman, Arial etc purely because everyone else does... Frutiger, Stone Sans, Myriad would be my faves...

Serif fonts are easier to read in a body of text. Reading a large amount of sans serif text is quite tiring on the eyes. Sans serif is more useful for headings.
Chicago - The font, not the City or Musical!
Default font on Macs, I think?
