It's hardly ignored? We're building a new stadium for f*ck sake.
Ah give over, how long is that happening? and you have no idea when it will be completed! When was the new stadium announced?

Happening for ten years now.
I've no idea when it will be completed. I'm not building it.
It was announced around 2007 I think.
For what it's worth, there was workers on the site last week.
What's awful though, we're far further along to having a suitable ground for LOI than Dundalk are.

That's not awful it's good for Harps and the league when it happens.
This isn't a point scoring exercise the floodlights in Finn Park and the Carlisle impede matches in my opinion and it shouldn't be accepted but is, like many things in this league. They wouldn't pass for Europe so why league games? I know most clubs are skint btw

Carlisle lights were missing at least one lamp per stand (eight stands) coming to the end of last season, but they have now all been replaced.

I've had trouble getting RTE when in England.
Does the RTE international app stream live for LOI games? Don't want to subscribe if it isn't showing it live.
any advice welcomed. Rte seems to be blocked on sky tv over here.

They usually don't block RTÉ for LoI games in the north, so you should be grand to watch it. Otherwise, an online streaming app like Mobdro should do the trick.

This game must be in danger with the rotten weather, never been the greatest pitch with a drop of rain.

Weather is spot on here so far today. Supposed to be raining by now, but still dry. Should be grand.

Yeah you're right, since Oriel is a kip all Dundalk fans should be banned from commenting on other grounds. Good man

Anyone been keeping tabs on which grounds have had live games from them this season ?

Turners X, Oriel, Tallaght have all had numerous games. Richmond Park, Hunky Dory Park & Finn Park have all had one game.
Superb from the panel tonight, not one of them picked up that the cork v dlk match will be cancelled on 15/09. 'That's a mouth watering game'
It might be but it won't be their second next game, that will almost certainly be away to Limerick on 23/09. That's the match they can win it if they beat Rovers and Dom beat Pats.

No. Bohs have been shown twice. Both games away at Shamrock Rovers.
Great opportunity to show a game from Eamon Deacy Park which has always looked well on tv with the FAI limerick cup game coming up if any station ar showing quarter final

Pretty sure they've always shown one of the QFs in recent years.
I may be biased but I think Galway v Limerick is the most obvious one to show but it wouldn't surprise me at all if the Louth Derby or even Rovers v Bluebell was shown now that it's confirmed for Tallaght.

Guide went to press before final decision was made - no q/f televised by RTÉ.

I'd say that's a victim of the fact that RTE have televised Cork up at Harps and Cork in Tallaght and now Cork/Dundalk apparently.

RTE must be praying that cork get it sorted. they'll probably keep showing us until we actually win it. Obviously would be ideal to win it at home and against dundalk too. That game will easily sell out.
I'm surprised they are televising the Limerick game. Dundalk game yes fair enough because we can win the title in that game if we beat Limerick but the Limerick game has no other significance apart from that (yes I know it is important to Limerick but you know what I mean).

I don't know, Munster derby and Limerick fighting to avoid relegation. On it's own it's not a bad one to televise.
It's just strange when Corks next game a few days later is also being televised.

Would be absolutely stunned if drogheda got something there, not going to happen. 3 points in Limerick for starters anyway just to settle the old nerves, 2 home games then to get it done, dundalk and I think the derry game needs to be re-arranged?

So would I be if Drogs won there butcan't say that Friday night isn't significant when it could be won that night. Similiar strange things have happened (us winning in TC a few weeks ago for example)

Is there any money in it for the FAI?

Does anyone has a list of team appearances on TV this season - by my reckoning 29 of Cork's 32 games will have been covered so far - with the exception being the 3 games against Galway United!
