Niiiice. Despite claims it is genuine, I am sceptical. No bandage and no way could ignore the pain to take a photo on way to hospital

He seems calm enough about it really. Reminds me of a story during the week a guy was attacked twice by a bear and recorded a video of himself after while he was a bit worse for wear.
Be interesting to know how Kevin managed to do that...

Seems he's going to lose the finger judging by his Twitter. That's a disaster.

Probably not really feeling the pain at the time cos of shock. Broke my leg before with bone poking out of skin and called lads over cool as a breeze about it to tell em call an ambulance pain didn't start to hit til a day or two later.

I cut off the top of my thumb with a bandsaw once when I was in college. I casually walked to my lecturer and simply said "I think I need to go to casualty".
Shock plays a wicked part in these things.

Shock, nerve damage whatever but that looks perfectly real above as the finger has been 'degolved'!! Wedding ring accidents are far too common and you never look at an eaten chicken wing the same ever again when the Ray Amputation is done!!

Safer not ever having a wedding ring like myself....yes I am married.

Don't see why he has to miss a minute, he's a striker not a goalie, just put a bit of masking tape on it.

If it was Gah he'd be told to go out and run it off first........then its the masking tape!
He will be in a cast of sorts after so he is bound to be on the sidelines for a bit. With that in mind does anyone know the 'rules' on playing with a cast or split etc? I know certainly I remember Gary Lineker and Lee Chapman playing years ago with casts on and the old plaster ones too. But today with the fibre type and as long as it isnt going to do that much more damage to a wrist by playing is there anything specific that says you cant?
There are no shortage of wedding ring nasties GC!! One in particular involved a member of an armed (poor pun) force and a hand grenade that caught in a wedding ring after the pin was pulled but the grenade wasnt going anywhere so arm over the 'safety' wall........no need for much masking tape that time but the chap is alive and kicking and he wasnt fortunate enough to have the old GAA men telling him to man up!!

Doesn't Jamie Vardy play with a cast on his lower arm and wrist? At least that's what I think he wore last season
