A winning the game in the last minute bonus? :D

Naw if it was a point eacht time one of your players hit a drop goal maybe, like the way it is at the moment only your kicker can rack up those points.

Also there should be a beating England bonus:D

and a SÓC bonus too

The scoring system is very simplistic. I don't think any points for wins or equivalent of cleansheets in football.

Often the best player in rugby isn't necessarily the one who lays on the try scoring pass.

Scotland & Italy will be on the receiving end of @ least 1 trashing this year.

The scoring system hasn't been thought out in any great depth. Your better off picking all back rows for your forwards cause they are more likely to score tries

I picked the usual French back row and only discovered after the weekend that Betsen and Hordiniquay (sp) were out injured.
Come back time this weekend.

I saw that in advance which was probably why got confused with guys like de Villiers...

Made a few changes, picked too many players who didnt get their game!

There was a bit of that going around. Might wait a day or two and see how D'Arcy and O'Driscoll get on before making any changes to mine...

I didn't select thme to star with ;)

Your problem with replacing them is that limited to 4 players per country.

Looks like Niamh kicked everyones ass this week boys...tries from Hayes, O'Connell, Petrie, Lewsey and Williams, and lots of kicked points from ROG and Yachvilli.

Plus 10 of her 15 were on winning sides.

Well done Niamh.

Niamh is still winning. The top 9 have broken away it seems. The bottom three are fairly stranded too.

I wouldn't worry about the Italians, not as if going to get much points off them anyway.

Niamh is now 110th overall.

I'm still happy enough with my team dispite some of the stars not performing.

Stupid bloody Laporte has ruined my chances (plus me being a crap manager).

For example for next games I dont know if I should have O'Gara or Vachvili as my kicker, knowing Laporte he'll have some bloody prop taking the kicks.

niamh
14/02/2005, 1:43 PM
The O'Gara - Yachvili choice is a tough alright.
I'll have to do some thinking on that as well!

Great weekend though - a great Irish performance from 18 mins + and England beaten late in Twickenham by a really poor French side.

I see Laporte has named his team , or more to fact, has named a few players to be dropped. Harinordoquy is abck for Chabal. Yippee!

Niamh still on top after round 3.

Had my best week so far (thanks to ROG Yachvili and O'Driscoll), except I had to use up my last transfer to replace Thomas at fullback. I hope I dont get anymore injuries!
