Check out this guy - born in 1995 so he's only aged 6-10 in most of the video. There's a date in the bottom corner. Newest Brazilian child prodigy. I feel old!

How many other nine year olds have their own promo video?! He has unbelievable skill but whether he ever amounts to anything remains to be seen. No doubt being hawked around Europe as we speak, far too young for so much attention to be paid to him really

Let's see the little fecker shine in St. Colman's Park in a first division tussle with the Mons first :p
He does look handy enough - it seems they call him the Left Footed Ronaldinho. He wouldn't be anything to the Cheras of Twomileborris, by any chance :D :D :D

thank god someone else said it. ;)
ffs, half the guys on underage teams I played with could put a compilation video like that together, it's not like anyone that age knows how to defend.

Exactly, everyone wants to be the next Robbie Keane or whoever.
If they play you in defence it's usually because you're taller and slower than the other guys.

We always get hammered in Colman's anyway, without him.

What would really make the video for me is for some big young fella at the back to come flyin out and kick him up in the air.
That'd be entertainment.

Top European clubs - including Manchester United - have shown interest in a
>nine-year-old 'super talented' Brazilian player, the boy's club said on
>Thursday.
>
>Jean Carlos Chera, who weighs only 35 kilograms and is 1.37 metres tall,
>currently plays for the youth squads of Associacao Desportiva Atletica, a
>small club in the southern state of Parana.
>
>The boy's above-average talent caused furore locally and quickly caught the
>attention of several European teams.
>
>"Seven or eight European clubs have already contacted us to know more about
>Jean," Adilson Batista Prado, the club's president, told The Associated
>Press by phone.
>
>"They want to know what he is all about, and I tell them he's a phenomenon,
>probably the best player to come out of Brazil."
>
>Prado and team officials would not identify all the clubs interested in
>Jean, but confirmed that representatives of Manchester United have asked
>for videotapes of his matches.
>
>Prado also confirmed teams from Portugal, France and Germany have made
>contact, and according to local media, FC Porto is one of them.
>
>The club said the European sides haven't made official offers yet, but some
>have asked for permission to send representatives, and others have invited
>the young midfielder and his family to Europe.
>
>Prado said the club has been very careful negotiating with the European
>teams and dealing with the media to preserve the boy.
>
>"He still needs to be a kid," said Prado, who does not allow Jean to talk
>to reporters.
>
>The furore over Jean began after the club uploaded videos with highlights
>of Jean's matches on its website.
>
>In the videos, Jean is seen scoring goals from midfield, dribbling past
>several defenders and playing among 13 and 14-year-olds.
>
>After the videos were posted, the site's page views nearly tripled and some
>of them had to be removed to keep the site from crashing, the club said.
>
>Local media also has hailed Jean's talent, but some soccer commentators
>share the club's concern.
>
>"There's no doubt he's a super talented boy, but that cannot keep him from
>being a kid," said ESPN Brasil's Antero Greco.
>
>"If the club and the family are not careful dealing with this situation,
>Jean's talent may be spoiled and lost."
>
>Jean is one of the youngest players to grab the attention from European
>clubs, but not the first one.
>
>Two years ago, Manchester United and Inter Milan were among top clubs that
>expressed interest in then 14-year-old Freddy Adu, who decided to sign with
>DC United of Major League Soccer instead
