Section O will be organising away travel to the Setanta Cup games.

There will also be a Section O trip during the eL season.

Advice from the draw has it that anyone travelling should do so by bus as it has been known for southern cars to be damaged in these particular areas, inside the ground everyone's safe as houses but a car left for a couple of hours outside is a risk..more fun on a bus anyway!

Hope to get on the section O trip north, but this is where the Dublin SC could really boost membership, if it were to run buses to both the home and away games in this competition. Considering they're midweek and the amount of exiles.

Certainly to the away games it would be good, I think there'd be the demand....

What sort of kick-off times are we expecting for the games? The weekday games will certainly mean time off work with Belfast being around 2.5hrs from Dublin

I heard 7.15, Setanta dictating that.

Yep, all games kick off at 7.15. The final by the way will be in the South unless two Northern teams meet, Lansdowne Road is provisionally booked

Ah bollóx, no wonder setanta are paying so much - compo for the effect on crowds.... It'll take away from the games, with reduced attendances...

Your more than welcome at the Oval!

Unfortunatley there is a bit of car crime around the Oval area due to the area being re-built etc. Id say where they will have you cars parked though, on the dual carriage way to the side of the ground, they'll be alrite!

Anyone lookinng info on coming up etc, just give me a shout!

Ill be down at your place, looking forawrd to it!

I'd imagine circa 300 to 400. The fact that it's Tuesday night might go against it.

It's hard to judge the interest in it, but anyone I've spoken to is excited about it. It's a pity that they couldn't put the games on at weekends.

7.15 kick-off means leaving Longford about 4 to 4.30pm by bus, getting back by midnight at best (depending on the pit stops).

It's a lot for some to go midweek. I hope they do. I'd say you'll get the best crowd at Glentoran. The Linfield crowd will depend on how we go in the competition.

The fact that it will be on Setanta Sports will go against it. I'd imagine the pubs that bother to get Setanta in will do a decent trade.

What if the 'friendly' officers of the PSNI stop you . . . .

So you dont think the citizens of Belfast who are intent on crime will wonder what cars with LD registrations are doing up north?
