B team and C team players can not play for the opposite team without getting a transfer. Both teams have to have separate panels but players from both can help A team .
I stand corrected. Is this because they are in the same division? I knew players from b team could help the a team. Just assumed it was the same for c players to help out the b...

Hibs look too strong for the 3rd division also, a few players that would be premier standard. Should go up comfortably. Lifford might lose a few of their better players to their A team maybe?

what players at hibs are premier standard. any players in shannon that are premier standard are with town. At premier standard even in clare you have to turn up every week and work for your team.

What's your definition of premier standard then ICTRUU? Last time I checked there was two teams from Shannon in the Clare Premier. Also agree with Side Cutter, Gary Leahy easily premier standard

you must be watching a different Hibs to Me .. interested to hear what players you would consider premier standard ?? the obvious one is leahy and that's it in my Opinion ... beaten today In Fai by Rieanna who were missing 4 first team players and all Hibs preimer players could not beat them ;)
long season to go yet don't be getting to confident yet ... lots of football to be played yet and the 3 points lost to Olympic objection may cost them at end of season

Hibs missing 4 first team players yesterday. Completely out played rineanna for the majority of the game. Rineanna scored against the run of play and their jack Charlton style football held out till the end. Not a bad performance against a very strong second division side. Hibs may well lose 3 points but it has not happened yet. Sad to see the objection from Olympic b after they getting battered by hibs. Still 3 points will be very hard to come by for them this season so they might as well go for it :ball:

Agree Hibs probally better team on the day and the odd jack Charlton style by Hibs up to leahy is an option not used enough at times.
Who were the 4 first team players Hibs were missing ..?? clutching at straws now trying to class Rineanna as a very strong 2nd Division team ;) the 3 points are gone unfortunately Hibs made a mistake playing suspended player and rules are in place by league.

Your point is irrelevant. Ennis has a population of about 27 or 28 thousand people and about 10 or 11 teams playing front ennis. Shannon has a population of about 10 or 11 thousand people and 7 or 8 teams locally.

Unfairness if Gary leahy was there I can guarantee you it would have been a different game. He is way too good for that division.

I think Hibs winning the shield would have been a bonus for them but they might be more concerned with making your impact with winning league or just getting Promoted couple of teams still in the 3rd division Who are previous shield winners ?
gary on his day is to good for the 3rd Division and a serious addation to Hibs when he is Available
I agree that lifford probally would have won final on 2nd half performance only and helped big time by Hibs collapse.
On a more serious note just spotted a fixture on league website for next Wed night in county grounds Olympic A V Newmarket A who have already met in the league ?? we are all waiting for the Big one Town A V Newmarket :ball:

Clare league fairly hammered hibs for illegal player v olympic b. six points deduction and 100 euro fine anybody else think it extremly harsh? I cant think of any other teams receiving them same punishment from league for playing illegal player.

It's in the rule book so it probably is right. However the player that was suspended served his 1 match automatic suspension. Hibs heard nothing from the league about a further 2 games so he came on as a sub at half time against Olympic b. Game finished 6-2 to hibs. The league claim they sent an email to the club informing of the further 2 game suspension, an email that hibs never received. Hibs were hardly trying to cheat putting the player's name on the match card in a local derby. I think common sense would be to give the 3 points to Olympic and leave it at that.

Burren United have been thrown out of the league as per league rules. 2 walkover and your out. Kilkishen celtic played with 9 men last Sunday so as to not get kicked out of league too . It's a sad state of affairs when lads sign a form and then won't turn up for their club.

Your do realise that committee members are voluntary and might not be able to update things every week even when eagle eyes like you are watching over them .

Committee probably don't get match cards until late in the week. Therefore if they don't meet until following week to discuss possible suspensions then how can they be updated weekly. You should probably put yourself forward for the committee. They could obviously do with someone like you helping out 😉😉

Voluntary or not they made the rule all suspenions would be up on website weekly dont make rules if you cant honour them?? In fairness puttin suspended players up on website probally helps stamp out clubs trying to play the same players while suspended. As for teams with managers with no qualifactions plenty of them out there and should be easy enough for league to identify them.

Agreed not fair on the people who are trying to keep clubs running. As for the inside information it was common knowledge in Ennis on Wednesday night. Very sad as a great facility out there.

I think it is extremly harsh. I know rule in place but league should look at every protest and judge on all the evidance presented. but they have set the Law now and amy other clubs will have to get same punishement. Fine and 3 point deduction would have been enough what do u think yourself

I think it was harsh . But at the same time if a player gets a straight red it very rarely results in just a 1 game ban. Maybe someone should have made a call to league as I'm sure they could have done without Jamie for Olympic game. Which the score suggests. I'd prefer to be missing him for that game than a tougher team. No disrespect to Olympic b.

I think Hibs at fault for not contactin league a quick phone call would have had it sorted, they probally thought it was like limerick league were they send out letter to club to confirm suspenions, they only brought jamie on at half time as well when 2-1 up. Very costly mistake :'(

Never heard of the shield being optional. In a lot of the rules they talk about the season. The shield is part of the season so same rules should apply. The shield is played at the start of the season to accommodate certain teams who are missing players to GAA. Moher b took no part but weren't fined or deducted points?
