Major signing set to be announced according to the club. If it's the name I've been given we've done really really well here.

The Slovenian team he was with seem to be fairly decent as Slovenian teams go, they've finished in the European places in recent years. No idea if he played much for them. We needed a tall defender hopefully he's useful. Another defender would be welcome too.

Seems he played for Wolves u18s before he went to Slovenia

That says he is a striker come winger I heard were we were signing a centre half not a centre forward but who knows I guess we will find out soon enough.

Imagine a player finding out through Twitter he was being released and free to join another club. That's as low as it gets. Cousins out and at the end of the season the board need a clean sweep.

Do you mean the club's tweet today that said he was going to Drogheda? Had he not agreed to go to them already then? Bizarre stuff but ultimately Cousins should have been the one to talk to him face to face before anything was announced.

Trained with them all week but no deal was done despite their clear interest in signing him. Then this tweet came out.

Well that's not quite the same thing as finding out you were being released and you didn't know it was coming. It's still a poor way of doing things obviously.

The lad never got a chance even when he played well he was dropped the next week and despite all that he still didn't ask to leave so to find out on Twitter that he was being allowed to leave has left an awful taste.
