Right, here goes for anybody who is interested. Here are the rules. For each game in Group E you must predict the correct result (exact score predictions) by posting it on this thread before the game starts.
Points are awarded as follows :
3 points for a correct result (you correctly predicted a win, draw or loss).
1 point for correctly predicting the number of goals each team scored.
Examples: You predict Ireland to beat Sweden 1-0.
If the final score is 1-0 to Ireland, you get everything correct and get (the maximum score of) 5 points: 3 for the correct result, 1 point for correctly predicting how many goals Ireland would score, and another 1 point for correctly predicting how many goals Sweden would score.
If the final score is 2-0 to Ireland, you get 4 points: 3 for the correct result, and 1 point for correctly predicting how many goals Sweden would score.
If the final score is 2-1 to Ireland, you get 3 points: 3 for the correct result.
If the final score is 0-0, you get 1 point: 0 points for the result itself, but 1 point for correctly predicting how many goals Sweden would score.
If the final score is 2-1 Sweden, you get 1 point: for correctly predicting how many goals Ireland would score.
If the final score is 1-0 Sweden, you get no points at all.
(I thought about adding a point for getting the margin of victory correct and that could be added if people like the idea – comment on it before 5pm if you do, or if there are any other suggestions)
