I was hoping to go myself but left it too late to book tickets. Seemed to get a bit messy then with change of venue, etc.

I was surprised that it sold out, the shows I've been to here have all been free. Don't think i would have been bothered if I had to buy a ticket

Yeah it was €22 per ticket. You'd kind of want to know what you're getting for that, in terms of guests, etc. Their other broadcasts over there are free (http://www.newstalk.com/Newstalks-Off-the-Ball-Roadshow-is-headed-to-France-this-June).

They refunded all the cash to everyone after the change of venue.

So all the events ended up being free.
