Its the official FAI's fan club...

Are any of you members?
Is it worth the €30 membership fee?
Do you get priority on home match tickets?

This does not guarantee you getting tickets. THe Tickets go to block bookers first and after that the away teams returns go to people on the block booking waiting list and after that they go to this club and then to the public so there is no chance of getting them for France or Switzerland unless it gets moved to Croker

I joined and got a pen, hat and keyring.

A waste of cash, shouldnt have bothered with it ... but then again Im an idiot
(seriously, ask anyone!)

I heard nothing from them for ages after I joined and only got my members
pack when I emailed to complain a month or 2 later.

There was a comp to win tickets to the Croatia game.

It says theres a 10% discount in the shop, nothing in the online shop to
enter your membership number so I presume its only in the match day shop
which I have always found quite poor.

The website is p!ss poor, once you log in brings you to your registration
details, site contains nothing else. Supposed to have forum and chat room

Also says they give discount on sponsor products - Priority Ticket alert
A possibility of buying tickets for Senior Home Internationals (subject to
availability) and Priority access to Team Training sessions ... but I havent
recieved any details of any of these.

All in all I think its just something that they half heartedly tried, quickly
realised that there might be some effort needed and so gave up.

I know that and I'm on the waiting list but never get them.. Was just enquiring to see if it would be of any advantage becoming a member..
