Finn Harps winger Paddy McGrenaghan is stalling on a new contract offer from the Donegal club as speculation grows that he may be on his way out of Finn Park.

The long-serving 28-year-old has spent the last 10 years at the Ballybofey club, and would be loathe to leave having helped Harps back into the Premier Division in November.

However, nothing has yet been signed and Omagh Town could well try to prize McGrenaghan away from Finn Park in a swap deal for Harps target Ivan Sproule.

Felix Healy, the Harps manager, admitted that McGrenaghan was the only issue awaiting resolution before the return to pre-season training.

He said: “Paddy has been offered another deal and is currently deliberating over it. That’s really the only outstanding matter as apart from that, everyone is more or less settled for the new season."
