Hope I never have to sit beside you at a game sligoman, if you only expect to change your jersey every two years. How long do you get out of your underwear??

Last season's jersey though I liked it wasn't really Rovers as there was more white than red. It would make for a good away jersey I suppose.
I'm told the new strip and players will be unvailed in the Radisson Hotel next Saturday night.

On Thursday next the squad report to the Showgrounds for a weigh-in. It seems each player was weighed prior to the Christmas and put on an excercise program in the gym in the Radisson and the manager is expecting each squad member to be in reasonable condition prior to pre-season training. Sounds very professional to me, enough even to impress me.

the jersey didnt represent rovers for me.
Like I was saying lads Red and white stripes we had it in 1928 we had it in 1977 and we had most years we won something. It's our traditional jersey so we should wear it instead of changing our style of jersey every year or so (can you imagine Derry in red and white hoops)

Yeah ! Maybe i'm old fashioned in these matters,but i think we should have stuck with the Red and White vertical stripes that brought us the league in 77.

Shams have stuck to their Hoops. There was huge unrest when Celtic started to tamper with the style of their jersey. Bohs have generally stuck to what we've come to expect and so on.....

Red and White vertical stripes is the way forward !!!!

Newcastle one isn't bad , red and white stripes on the arms.

Had a gander at the Jako site and am very disappointed with the range of choice or should that read lack of range of choice :confused:
Red obviously isn't the in colour with Jako. On saying that there is some lovely gear there.
As mentioned in one post already we changed our colours under Willie McStay and it worked a treat, why not go for it again?
I suggest we go for the Jersey Celtic with the colours Black and Red.

to be perfectly honest...Jako have a brutal selection...them jerseys look naff!!got to get ye'r selfs some umbro jerseys (like gufc :D )

I think their should be an online poll where supporters chose the jersey (a lot of English clubs do this) after all it is us the supporters who buy's it

I prefer the red & white Hoop that Rovers wore in the late '90s :)
I still have that jersey and wear it to the Ireland U21 games.
I have not liked the last couple of jerseys and I have not bought them. :rolleyes:
If the '77 style jersey is re-introduced, I might buy it. :D

generally speaking the more red teh better i like like 94 cup winning one also the red with vertical white stripes one from the lawrie sanchez era .
