Top of the table clash! UCD have a lot of injuries going into this one apparently, but Limerick were playing midweek. Depending on results elsewhere, Limerick could be 12 points clear by end of the weekend.

I saw the first game and thought UCD were better value than the 4-1 final result. I'd be expecting them to put up a better show with 11 men on the field for 90 minutes.

If we win tonight we break the record for winning starts in the first division I think, I believe we are tied with Derry on 7 at the minute.

Surely we get a test tonight.

Fantastic run going on from Limerick at present! Looking more forward to making some notice at UCD

Ended up stuck in work an hour later than usual, so any half-formed thoughts of rushing out on the DART went to the wayside. Just from ET and the club's video, seems like UCD put it up to us for parts, lots for Hall to do. But, they won, again. 8 from 8.

Shambles more or less from start to finish tonight.

Garbhan Coughlan is never a better option than John O'Flynn.

These will be murdered by a Premier side some night unless they pull the finger out.

Two great goals by Duggan in fairness.

Yeah. I hate when we play badly and win. There should be rules against that kind of stuff. Maybe points deduction?

As usual, when we bother our arses we're easily better than whoever we're playing.

As usual, we don't bother our arses at least half the time, and make it difficult for ourselves.

Shocking defending for the UCD goal, and Williams' red. Duggan's second was some rocket.

Surely on recent form, the point is they both should have started v UCD. Hopefully team selection attempts won't be an ongoing discussion topic.

If we have the luxury of bringing players in and out then we should take advantage at the moment. Give everyone plenty of game time and plenty of rest. As the season goes on then lock down your starting 11, especially if we progress in the cups.

Coughlan and O'Flynn I'd imagine.

God lads do you remember the times when we had no luxury? I suppose years of misery has made winning every week difficult to accept. Enjoy this season please because we'll be back in the real world soon enough.

I'd agree with O'Flynn he should have been starting but I don't know who we would drop from midfield for Garbhan fair enough he has been scoring but I don't think there is any doubt really who our best 3 in midfield are.

We were good for about 15-20 mins at the start of this one and then absolutely awful the rest. Tbh I don't care too much winning is winning but also I wouldn't want to be watching dull sluggish performances like that all season when we are capable of a lot more.

No harm to have won a game like this. Shows we're only human! We were spoiled with 5/6 goal games at the beginning - 3 points are what's important surely?
