Sharkey out, full squad otherwise. Apparently Limerick have scored more goals in six games than Cabinteely have since they entered the LOI. Obviously expecting all three points.

Even trying to get odds on limerick scoring 4 or more is ridiculous. No value in backing Super Blues this season. I'm expecting a goal fest tomorrow. 👍

Could the ten goal barrier be in our sights ?

Cabinteely with a late equaliser to shock everyone.

Let's not go nuts. Cabinteely aren't even the worst team in the division.

According to everyone I have spoken to around the league they are.

If we win and Athlone get a result in Cobh we'll be ten points clear after round 1.

Hopefully we get back up to our 5-a-game average.

I thought Athlone too tbh but spoke to a few people and they all said Cabinteely are worse.

Who was the fella with the grey hair and the red jacket who attacked two members of the blue army prior to kick off?

Roaring and shouting right in their faces gesticulating with his hands. Just feet away from where small children were selling programmes for the club.

Whoever he is (and iv never ever seen him at a game prior to us moving back to the markets field) he is an absolute disgrace.

Cabinteely were defensively better than some we've faced so far.

Games settling into a routine of us being in first gear, labouring to a first goal, then it's game over and just a matter of how many we'll add to the scoreline.

What was the nature of his grievance do you know ?

I think the fact that we didnt score more than 3 goals and that he had them backed -4 had a lot to do with it.

What happened there was before the Shels game a small group of lads set off some flares on the walk from the pub to the ground. A video of this was put up on the Blue Army facebook group and was seen by someone involved in the ground, not the club now to be clear the stadium. While two of us from the group were at the Blue Army table that is set up before games this man came over pointing fingers while roaring and shouting he made a number of accusations based on the video that can quite clearly be proven to be false by watching the video. One of us told him we did not appreciate the tone in which he was speaking to us and that his accusations were false we also told him because of the tone he was speaking to us that if he had any issue he should bring it up with the club who we will then discuss it with, he took offence to this and went on another bit of a rant.

An unfortunate thing really considering it was started over something so small that really did no harm to anyone at all and could have been settled if certain people could have acted like adults and spoke to people with a bit of respect. We have been advised by a number of people around the incident that we should go further about the fact these false accusations were made about us in front of such a large crowd of people. So thats what happened anyway.

Disgraceful scenes seeing him roar at those two young fellas. He then went hiding behind a young girl when they responded to him. It all seemed a bit rehearsed the way he was going on

That sounds remarkably stupid. If he has a problem with pyro outside ground, surely there are better ways to handle it?

It could have been handled with a 2 minute conversation if we were approached with a bit of respect and spoken to properly. Since everything was sorted after last years mess with the club we have a great relationship with them and the one or two issues that have come up since then have been solved with very simple conversations this could have been done like that. Its not a huge deal but not exactly the scene you want right in front of people entering the ground.
