this is getting boring. Dolan has every right to call things as he sees it. Poor training facilities are not going to help the team, and they won't help attract new players either. I don't think better facilities would have won us the league, but Dolan might just have a better idea than any of us how big (or small) a handicap it is. Some people are using this just to have a go at Dolan, others to give out about Lennox. Simple fact is, a club like ours should have better facilities. as far as we all know, the club intend doing something about it. Dolan's had his say, now he can get on with managing the team, and let the club worry about sorting this out.

The thing about Dolan is he cant just get on with it. He's like a broken record, repeating over and over again. Rebel Army... Proud of my players... .. Dublin Bias... now its lack of training facilities..........
By constanly harping on about the same thing he is diluting the impact of what he's saying and the impact of his arguement.

he's also taking the attention off his players, and thus taking the pressure off them. Honestly, I ignore a lot of what he says becuase i've heard it all before. But he is doing a good job, and if listening to him talk cráp every now and again is the price of success, I can put up with it

If thats the case we're due a Champions League win in the next few years.
I can't read his article in the programme or his post match comments on the Echo.
I'll judge him by whats done on the pitch but in my opinion most of what he says should be taken with a pinch of salt.

HE'll do for the moment, I agree that Pat does go on a bit and it is one reason I would put a mark against him but to date he deserves to keep his job put he ain't a Pat Fenllon and there is no Irish manager good enough at this moment to bring the team forward so best of a bad lot. A professional manager is needed for a professional team. his hearsay wasn't professional in my opinion and when I win the lotto and put my share in I will tell him that, until then its a rant

WWS BTY Flanders did do it.......

Can anybody tell me of any manager, anywhere, in any league, in any country, on any planet, that doesn't think that things could be better at their club and who tell all and sundry the same?

Not the same as making excuses, is it?

I'd say in Pat's case twould be more like a pallett of salt you'd need rather a pinch.. ;)

most people ignore everything you say aswell.

most of what dolan says makes great sense, its a disgrace that brian lennox is not providing dolan with the neccessary training facilities and then leaving dolan get critisised for going on about it.

When has Lennox ever said the training facilities weren't being sorted????

See what soundbites do........

Fair enough, I think that is where I would differ with most of you, I don't see him bringing success, I do agree we are a better team now but there is more than Dolan to thank for that but as Dolan is the manager it is justified that he continue his job as he is responsible for the results of the team. He has targets to be achived and he has signed up to that. Should he miss his targets next season what then????

but Éanna I would gladly eat humble pie for success and I hope I have to do it soon. I'll still roar him on a a match because after all he is our manager.

some people have agendas, and will believe what they want. there's no talking to them. Everyone who actually knows what's going on, knows that lennox wants this sorted too. But he won't risk bankrupting the club over it, or spend money we don't have. Some people would obviously have peter ridsdale in charge

BAnkrupting the club is not the answer, anyway we had training facilities last year. What did Cork City do for training stand around corners????
