After the success for last weeks Betweenthestripes Charity Bet for St. Christopher's. Have youu gazed into the crystal ball for this weeks fixtures. Also I followed the bet last week and returned a €60 profit, so as a gesture of goodwill I would like to donate it to your collection pot. Can some PM me with the details of who to give the money to. With Athlone's game called off our 5 fold became a 4 fold but it won! Another 43 euro or so profit, delighted.

Good work. May have to start paying attention to these bets for my very own charitable fund which has only one exceptionally deserving beneficiary who wishes to remain anonymous.

My only regret is I haven't been backing my own tips as I didn't want to be doing the same bet twice. Anyway just withdrew €55 from Paddy Power for last nights 4 fold and collected Sparkey's kind donation which means our pot now stands at €170 and I will be trying to get that over to the guys at St.Christophers next week at some point, just a few logistics to sort out first. Gone for a 26/1 five fold this weekend. Dundalk, UCD, Drogs, Sligo and Harps. Hoping to raise 136 euro for Christopher's if this comes in.

Was the charity pot ever handed over to St Christophers and what was the final total.

Going to be handed over at the end of the LOI season (so after the cup final). Sadly our good start faded away and it's really your generous donation from earlier in the year that makes up the total pot of €67 at present. We said we wouldn't risk any of the money that you donated but hopefully we can have a small win before the end of the year to push it towards the 100 euro mark. Next season I'm hoping to run fantasty football leagues, last man standing and other fundraisers for St.Christopher's. They really don't get enough support.
