When you played NEC Nijmegen this year, did any of you keep in contact with any NEC supporters. The reason I ask is I am after a NEC scarf or shirt and was just wondering if anyone could put me in contact with someone.
If not, no worries, just thought I would ask. Hope to see you all in March/April time when we come down, looking forward to it, having a few beers and a laugh and the footie of course.
Cheers.

Didnt go myself but i do know that there was about five days between matches so not much time to make contact with fans pre-travelling .... and from what i remember, people didn't stay too long over there (was there trouble getting accomidation etc. or something like that)
Is that Glens as in Glentoran ?? Fair play fella ..... what way is your squad this year, and how do you fancy your chances against the eL teams ??

Yep Glentoran. We have a very good and talented squad this year although we haven't really hit top form yet, but we are still in the top three. Couple of players to look out for would be, Darren Lockhart, Tommy McCallion, Shaun Homes, Michael Halliday and Chris Morgan. Also our two full backs are scoring for fun just now.
Honestly don't know about our chances against EL teams. We know all about Shels and your good selves, but Longford, don't know. Certainly we would fancy our chances in Belfast and hope for something away from home. Personally I am just looking forward to some good football, good beer and spreading the Glentoran gospel.

I was at the Nijmegen game and managed to swap my Cork City shirt for a Nijmegen shirt with a Dutch fan after the game.
It's not in the best of condition and it aint the current one either but hey, what do you expect for free?! :D
Give me a shout and perhaps we could some sort of swapsies (is that the correct spelling?!) out.

Yep . . . . . Also our two full backs are scoring for fun just now . . . . Any chance one or both of them might want to continue their playing careers in the European Capital of Culture? ;)

Doubt it mate. Mark Glendining, left back, is the wrong side of 30 and Colin Nixon is far and away the best right back in the Irish League and a die hard Glenman. They have a bet with each other this year as to who will score the most goals. Mark is currently winning.

What happens when he comes to the cross and sees what he could be enjoying every second week .... He might think all his birthdays got stack up in one and he got them all the day he play City, even though his team lost the game !! :D
