I also seen in the Herald that Peter Hynes is with St John Bosco now. Where in Dublin are they based?

ex town players Shane O Brien and Piotr Szcerbowski are now with Camlin Utd in the CCFL.

seen in the heard lsl pullout last nite that ex town player and Galway Utd mgr Joey Malone is now a scout with Sheff Wed! think he was no 2 to Con Flanagan also in his short spell with us

decided to resurrect this thread. I was reading the LSL pullout in the Herald at work last night and saw ex town great Paul McNally is playing for Finglas Utd over 35 and played against Crettyard Utd in the quarter final of the LFA over 35s cup. Shels manager Owen Heary is also playing with him also.

He was playing Leinster League for a good few years. He was apparently talking about coming back to try and play for LTFC if Vinny had been kept on as manager back in 2008.

another blast from the past . Ex Town great Dean Fitzgerald has signed for St James Gate in Senior Sunday 1B Division in the LSL. Thought he had retired!

piece in sun today about ex town player Ayman Ben Mohammed! hes still with Esperance with Tunisia and has only made one appearance so far.

I was watching the FAI Junior Cup highlights on eir TV just now and seen that ex town player from 08 Damien Rushe is still playing and is now with Willow Park who lost in last round before the quarter final stages. St Peters were knocked out in earlier stages of it. Damien must be guts of 40

I admire his optimism as regards reaching the level of Evra, Martial and Henry. Saying the right things was never his problem, trying to catch a forward after he'd been turned was a bigger issue however.

I really like Yann and I thought he took too much stick for a 20 year old in a useless team, partnered by either an old fella in Flynn, or a stiff lad in Gorman.

I know he never played for us but ex town manager and assistant manager Aaron Callaghan quit as manager of Carrick Rangers after they were confirmed in the promotion relegation playoffs today in the Danske Bank Premier League. bit of a strange decision but Callaghan has form for doing this!

Delighted for Glenn, lovely fella who scored an unforgettable free kick up in Finn park in 2014 which was a massive goal in our title winning season. All 3 you've mentioned were terrible footballers tho

Glenn only joined Liffey Wanderers this season from the club he left us for(cant for the life of me think of the team).

Also town legend Sean Dillon has come on as sub for Dundee Utd v Falkirk in Ladbrokes Championship Playoffs semi final first leg. Dillo is 33 but hasnt made too many appearances this season. Its his first appearance since March! Game is on BT Sport now.
