I would say a few of you are in the same boat as me, first day back at work after the Christmas holidays, hard to get motivated and all that.

I was just wondering what is the occupation of the members of this site, I know that there are a good few students on here, what about the rest of ye?

I work in Ranelagh myself as office manager (I don’t even know if that is the right name for my job, sounds good anyway :p ) for a Medium sized Construction firm (most of whose staff on site are from Co.Donegal) exciting stuff.

a guy that part of his job for guinness was to taste the product and make sure it was ok. :)

A few years back a friend of mine who works in Marketing in Dublin got in touch with me as Guinness needed people to go to pubs and, test the pints, measure the head, check the temperature, see what Guinness merchandise was visible (all top secret as Guinness were doing the survey to see why sales had dropped).

We had a crash course in St James Gate as to why a pint can be bad or have a bad head, etc.. to much information…

I had to go to 15 different bars (not on the same day) and got paid for the pint and travel, imagine this being a full time job :D

(Actually, no I'm not. That's just a joke for some of the more seasoned posters on here. I'm actually a civil servant, responsible for strategy formulation in one of London's 33 local borough councils. Not saying which one though. :) )
