Was disappointed with last night's show. It seemed to be all about Anne Doyle posing for various shots and some of her ancestry in Wexford who had nothing to do with Rising. We were introduced to the life of her grandfather, who incidentally wasn't involved in the Rising, but was a farm labourer. Times were tough. Communciations were a lot slower then. Doh!
A nice touch was when children held pictures of their fore-bearers who were actually involved and explained what they did.
Stick to reading the news, Anne. I hope the next three are not just ego trips as well.
