What's the story with FM bugwise? Usually the first of a new engine from the old CM crowd were 'problematic'. I've heard the game is good but are there many problems?

I haven't played TCM, but FM05 is fantastic. I havne't playyed a copy of it without the patch, but with the patch, I've had no problems/bugs whatsoever.

I had a read through the list of faults fixed (don't have the game on this computer) - does it solve the probs with the eL that I have heard of (game ending on the 22/11/05, something with the Setanta Cup, etc?)

SI are always good for fixing stuff like that. I know people might say "bloody hell why did they let that happen", anyone who has worked with databases the size that SI work off will tell you, they are hard enough to manage on thier own without trying to add script on top...
