So what do people reckon for new jersey? It's inevitable we'll get one specially for the Euros. Our latest one was ok. My favourite of recent times was for the Euro 2012 qualifying campaign. The one we had at Euro 2012 was God awful.
I'd love to see us go back to something like below that harks back to times past.
i'd also love to see O'Neills or Adidas get the contract again. Don't rate Umbro's designs at all

This is my favourite of recent years. I'd like a return to that darker shade of green.

We are tied in with Umbro until 2019

Best kit we've had since 1996.

Have that jersey, sponsorless. Oh yeah. :)

Do lighter colours tend to make a team look a bit 'lightweight'?

Me too, a long sleeve version with the number 8 on front and back. I actually just dug it out this week, it's a bit too big for me, well the length is so it's actually in the tailors being turned up as we speak! I had kind of forgotten about it because I'd say I stopped wearing it because the length looked a bit stupid. The material is quite heavy, which can be ideal for supporters but maybe not so great for players.

Not Official jerseys though. O'Neill's versions?

Yeah this is the retro merch version but there was something very similar around in the 70s

I'd love this minus the Opel (and not an attempt at a recreation but the real McCoy)

I have no numbers either. One of the lads on here alerted me to it being in a Sports Direct in Bournemouth back in 2011 and a friend of mine happened to be about Bournemouth at the time and picked it up.

That and the home are by far the greatest shirts we've ever had. No question. The Umbro one we've just talked about is probably second to it.

I have a grĂ¡ for the adidas one we wore to qualify for 1994 too.

Toffs have a decent selection of retro jerseys: http://www.toffs.com/retro-football-shirts/international-teams/republic-of-ireland

Why would the Euros be in New Jersey?

We've a decent record there, mind you.
