Who would you give that accolade to? There have been many, Noel hartigan, Dave Barry, Morley, Phil Harrington, Gerry McCabe.

My vote is with Morley, with Dave Barry running a very close second.

There's alot of competition for this one. Of the list mentioned above it must be remembered that Biscuits, Deccie and Skippy all left the club for a season or two while Gerry McCabe was only at the club for a season or two. That said they have all given great service to the club which sould be praised.

In my opinion it has to be between Johnny C (our greatest ever goal scorer) and Dave Barry. Johny must get great credit for still volunteering his services when hes needed even up to this day while we must remember that Davey got great stick from the GAA for persisting with City. He once had to sit out the Munster final in Killarney.

Either of them would be worthy winners.

Best Player: Morley or Dave Barry.

Dave Barry for servant i think cos of the way he played for city as well as the GAA but always city first! Remember he also came in as manager when the club truelly screwed & while he didn't have what it took to get us a league championship did snatch a cup final win. Honorable mentions to Johnny C & Deccie.

Oh how the current team could do with a Dave Barry in the middle.

Surprised not to see Patsy get a mention. I reckon he was the most individually talented player to play for City. (although, if we count mercenaries like Terry McDermott and Trevor Brooking then Patsy might have some competition). In saying that, Dave Barry would be the guy I'd put down first on my all time team.

if you're gonna start counting mercenaries, Liam O'Brien deserves a mention.

I say give it to the two of them, Skippy and Johnny C for having probally the greatest LOI partnership ever. Cast your mind back even to two seasons ago, Johnny C got 9 and Skippy got 20 at the tender ages of 34 and 35 respectively!

Since the greatest 'servant' of the club is usually the longest serving i'm surprised no one has mentioned Liam Murphy. I don't know how long he played for the club but was for a good spell + he been on coaching side ever since.....

Possibly Biscuits for the same reasons.

Off the pitch maybe. On the pitch Daly had probably been the best servant and Morley the best player IMO.

Yeah, I'd vote for Noelle. She went making phone-calls to fans yesterday to let them know the match was off- LEGEND!

must have cost her at least 70 cents to phone all the fans.
