In which country do you think you would find the most goals on average per game (for the top division)? Whats the worst country?

Where would you find the EL. Read and be mystified. I certainly was!

In fairness, I think there were either 12 or 16 goals scored at the Brandywell in the whole season - by home and away teams! Longford didn't exactly help either! I think the average has gone down a lot since the 10-team Premier - would be interesting to see how much of an effect that had. Smaller leagues are always going to be high up on the list.

If you take away goals which result from hideous defensive blunders, how high would the North rank?! I've watched the BBC highlights on Saturday afternoons! :p

At least the EL premier has players who know how to defend... unlike the Premiership cross channel :D

2.77 goals per game in the First Division...

Though having seen some of the defences, I can understand why! :eek: :D
