Drogheda United defender Brian Kelly, out of favour at United Park since the arrival of Dutchman Jermaine Sandvliet midway through the 2004 season, has been linked with a close-season switch to Premier Division newcomers Bray Wanderers.

The tall defender, who can play at either left back or in the centre of a back four, is likely to leave Drogheda before the start of the new season in March.

Shamrock Rovers and St Patrick’s Athletic could both be interested in the 23-year-old former Middlesbrough trainee, but Bray are first in line for his services.

The Seagulls lost veteran left back Maurice Farrell to retirement after the end of their promotion campaign, and manager Pat Devlin is believed to be interested.

he's been with us since the season we won the first division scoring a great goal for us that year against dublin city from 55 yards in the 94th minute other than that hes fairly ordinary, quite tall but a bit lacking in pace hasnt really been a regular with us for a while now but might do the job for you.

Cheers for the info ;) , sounds like good cover.

Goin off the topic,
I think we need a more vocal player, Jody's a decent captain but the communication on the pitch seems a bit broken at times and we need 1 of these constantly talking and barking players perhaps.
Hopefully Wes will score a few more from set-pieces next season as well(he seems to score a few for Vincy's).

The 2 problems could be worked on in training but were not fading at the end of last seasom and need to be dealt with for the new.
