Locked out, refused admission, not let in.thrown out before they got in - still not getting the story here.i'd be raging if it was me.

Was some of our fans refused addmission to Cork (for being too ****ed/high on weed) earlier in the season. Some of them were on our bus.

Don't know how they picked the 4 or 5 lads that didnt get in, as there was lads in the ground that day asleep during the game and others not fit to stand.

Haven't been on-line much this week, have read through this thread and may have missed it - but what reason was given for the Cork fans who traveled to Derry being refused admission to the Brandy?

Our stewards were sent up A4 sheets with photos of Cork ones who weren't to be allowed into the ground, apparently most of whom were 'corner boys', whoever they are. Came from the gardaí in Cork, based on advice from Cork City FC, I heard. Cork then denied they had anything to do with it. All very strange.
Either the gardaí are acting off their own bat and denying people entry into the Brandywell (and presumably other grounds in the coming weeks), Cork City FC wanted them denied in then lied about it, or someone involved with Cork City FC asked the gardaí to contact Derry City FC to have them denied entry.
I doubt the gardaí would start this themselves, it's not as if anyone in the Brandy is their problem. Think it's more likely Cork City, or someone involved with Cork City, took a dislike to these 'corner boys' and asked the gardaí to pass on the photos to ourselves.

There's a whole thread about in on the Cork City forum, but no-one seems to have a definitive culprit or reason for excluding these people.

Regardless, it's pretty poor form to allow fellas to travel the length of the country knowing they'll be turned at the gate.

Amazing stuff.

If this happened at Dundalk, there would be ructions. How it can happen at a "fan owned" club is hard to believe.

It happens at most clubs at one stage or another. Sure I nearly got banned from Finn Park one time when accused of smashing a pub window in. Considering I was in the pub at the time smashing it inwards would have been an interesting feat! It was some local dispute with nothing to do with us but Chinese whispers and a few grudges conspired to morph it into something else.
