I know its a lot easier said than done but the refs could make there job a little easier by just thinking about before they blow the whistle. You see some refs giving free kicks and they dont even know what for sometimes like.
Ive come to myself how tough there job is listenin to the abuse they get but sometimes they bring on they can be mouth them selves but mostly they do get needless abuse if they just stopped for a second before blowing off sides wihout even looking at the line or giving a fall without listening to a call from the side. Ya there job would be easier if people got off their backs but its not like there always doing the best they can aswell during every game. Its like when a player has bad games, refs have them too but some refs never have good games because of the inconsistency with some calls

Blackpool have the slight advantage in the title race they have the points in the bag which are always better than the games in hand. Fair play to Brian Kenny on the job he is doing this season a possible double on the cards. Blackpool have players that are wasted in the third division, Willie Matthews is as good as any keeper in the AUL. It's all set up for a showdown last game of the season in Pophams field, pity a league will be decided on one of the worst pitches in the AUL. Best of luck to both clubs in their remaining games.

Rumour mill in full swing for next season already, hearing Knocknaheeny Celtic and Leeview are entering B teams, wonder will any clubs fail to reappear next season??? Clubs are under huge pressure to fulfil fixtures at the moment it's a ridiculous situation for the last month or so expecting amateur players to play 3/4 games a week on top of working full time and raising kids. Proof is in some of the score lines seen during the midweek games. The past week has seen sides like Rathcoole Rovers and Greenmount Rangers given the opposition walk overs. Bohemians are having a fine season at the moment could see them winning a treble the form they are in, they have an exceptional front line in Robbie Healy, Christy Bullman and Kevin kenneally 3 former senior players with Castleview. In Anthony Burns they have probably the best centre back in the AUL wouldn't be surprised if a few senior clubs have a look at him.

I understand what your saying about enjoying playing with bohs, but I have it on good authority that Rockmount and Castleview seniors are after him. I reckon he should give it a go, it's always right to test yourself at the highest level you can if it doesn't work they'll be no shortage of takers for him.

Hearing as well there is quite a few managerial changes on the way up the north side Mark Forde the former Shandon Celtic boss is taking over the reigns at Cathedral Celtic, Tony Dunlea the former Blackstone manager is line to return to the club to replace Derek Mellerick, Fairview are also the hunt for a new manager with Eddie Kenny and Paulie Corcoran turning down the opportunity to take over.

Great game in the semi final of the city challenge cup in Mayfield tonight, Bohs running out 3-2 winners a.e.t with a goal in the dying moments. Harsh on Leeview they deserved to bring the game to penalties with a gallant performance. The game had everything with the Leeview keeper scoring from a kick out and the Bohs stand in keeper producing a world class save to keep Leeview at bay. Best Wishes to Bohs Keeper who was substituted with a nasty head injury. Leeview seemed inspired by the presence of Paulie Corcoran on their line, is he back in advisory role or is he taking over next season?? Great final in store now between Knocknaheeny and Bohs.

Great Game is right. The stand in keeper made a fantastic save that 99 times out of 100 would have went in... Bohs are a great side & have played some amount of football in the lads few weeks but keep going.... As for Paulie he was in as a supporter of the club nothing more... Hes a football man and threw in a few fu#ks & s#ts but that's it... Best of luck to Bohs in the final...

Just my opinion

i blew no one out kid and lastnite was my 1st game i seen since i got the chop.bohs were outstanding it will be some final.

Dont be drawn out bud!! But you are correct, it'll be a great final. Unfortunately a lot of finals tend to be tentative affairs but I fully believe this will be a cracker. Both great footballing sides and I think both will go for it

Looked like a team about to blow the league the night we beat them 2-0. Lost the heads very easily. In saying that we can't field a team tonight against them cos of injuries and barely fielded a team Monday against bohs cos of injuries. The pile of games all at once seems to be affected a good fes clubs. Injuries bound to happen!

Still and no offence to any teams but with the caliber of players that glenvale have they should of walked it! i no any team can beat any team on there day nut with ex premier players and a ex MSL player is poor! they had two games in hand and fell apart! and on the pile of games its a disaster i know but what can you do the weather messed up the whole lot of winter so it was obvious what was going to happen! hard on teams in the premier having to travel to park on a week day!! i was shown a thing in work last week or the week before of corkbeg having to travel something like 160 km to play newmarket!!! i know games have to be played but surely common knowledge and put on a weekend!!

No offense taken, yes i'd be thinking the same. When we went 1-0 up and giving them a proper game they started getting ratty and asking what are these f**kers playing for anyway. Looked as though they were going to run away with the league for a while alright and have some very very good players. The travel aspect is crazy - we were in the same league as Banteer for 4 seasons - 162km round trip and then last season and the season before Newmarket - 200km round trip from Ballinspittle. Meeting up at 8.30am on a sunday morning to travel to a game is crazy and one of the many reasons we left the West Cork league was to avoid the ridiculous travel involved.

Jim Rielly is the worst referee to ever go on a pitch. How he got a license is beyond me

Naming referees is hardly fair we could all add someone to the list mind.
Glenvale not winning the league was a big shock the last few weeks, elsewhere bohs are in great form,
Hillington putting together a great run to stay up, tower continue to rise,
Caatleview juniors continue to fall surprisingly, in division 3 Pearse and city wanderers continue to
Do well, blackpool and donoughmore level with 1 game to play against each other. Also a lot of cups to be played soon once the Belarus game is done. The season will run into preseason for some almost

The season will finish on June 10th. Not too far behind previous seasons despite the atrocious weather for 4 months. And werent Tower beaten by Park in the league, in a semi final by Banteer and a quarter final by Hibs all in the last 10 days? I'd say wheels are coming off as opposed to continuing to rise!

Any sane man would class going up as rising kid.
4 away games in the last 7 days.
Lost a semi and a quarter which was tough to take but then won the league last night.
The wheels are firmly on.
