But Dave Barry said we'll lose, all hope is lost.

The glamour tie of the weekend. I haven't seen much of Sligo either pre or post Heary so not best placed to make a prediction. That's never stopped me before however so I'll go with 1-1.

You sure about that? Don't forget, Ollie Horgan faces off against Roddy Collins tonight. Both are suspended, so I'm expecting all out war between the two of them in the stands. Either way, it'll be fun to watch.

Less glamourous nigel but potentially explosive I'll give you that

Don't even think about telling Roddy Collins that anything is less glamorous than him.

Have you you not seen our big team news. Kevin Devaney is back.

We've been a bit better since the Heary heave but wouldn't be putting any money on us tomorrow night.

Harps 3-0 up in Waterford with Nathan Boyle scoring two on his debut. Back on top of the league temporarily at least.

Cabinteely 0-1 Shelbourne in Stradbrook tonight.

FT in Waterford at 3-0 to Harps too. Great to be back to winning ways and two clean sheets in a row is handy too going into a tough run of games.

Roddy better quit before he gets relegated.

What happened with Horgan - he seems to be banned for every game, has he been in the dugout at all this season!?

Longfordian

Literally nothing he could have done would be any great surprise. He's completely mental.

Horgan has been a breath of fresh air into the club. Passionate, an encyclopedia on players in the country, an intelligent man and most of all a very good manager who wears his heart on his sleeve.

Maybe the FAI want a manager to sit on the bench with his legs crossed in a nice suit and not say a word during the game.

Horgan is the best thing to happen to Harps in years. He's a bit mental on the sideline at times, but as alluded to above, is much preferred to someone who sits there, says nothing, and motivates nobody. The most passionate football man I've ever met, and witnessed his encyclopedic knowledge of football and footballers first hand. Incredible stuff, knows almost every player in the country inside out.

Shocking stuff from ourselves tonight again. We weren't terrible in the first half; but were appalling in the second.
Bray aren't a great side, loads of mistakes made. The goal was well taken, though we gave serious space for Bray to play in.

Very difficult result for Pizza. Could be gone after that.

Be a tight last few minutes in Sligo with Longford now pegging them back to 3-2.

Wexford top of the First Division again, 3-0 win in Cobh. They've now scored 41 goals in 17 games.

Post of the year

Worst half performance ever from a longford team. No passion, no closing down, just zero effort from anyone on the pitch at all. Second half we got tighter, got in Sligos faces and in particular Rice and Salmo got the whole team going and up the pitch and we could have got a draw in the end as injust as it would have been. The players better show that kind of effort for 90 minutes next week

that game brought back memories of ten years ago of our second half performance in Wales when we collapsed! I went on the **** big time after the game to drown our sorrows! that game marked the end of an era which has taken years for us to recover!

The match was moved to tonight because Waterford are playing Liverpool XI in RSC on Friday night.

That's incredibly sad that a competitive league match had to be moved to suit Liverpools under-21 team.

Went out to the Cabinteely Waterford game last night, Waterford unlucky not to hang onto the win, they looked comfortable for the whole game but a last minute deflected goal undone them.

I was out at the Cabinteely Shels match on Friday as well, Cabinteely have absolutely no creativity whatsoever.

I haven't seen Waterford play in years, I like the look of their number 6 and 7, striker isn't great and their number 4 wants nothing to do with the ball at all but he's a decent enough defender.

Dylan McGalde for Shels looks a decent player and Philly Hughes still a class above the first division.

Fair play to the Waterford fans who made the trip upto Dublin on a Monday night
