Shane McEleney away to Pats. Not sure why they want him, but leaves a gap in the defense for us.

There's been a mix up somewhere, we want Patrick not Shane
Jake Kelly staying at Dundalk it appears after a few weeks of speculation that he'd be coming to Dalyer. Leaves us with just Akinade and Byrne as viable options up front.

I read he is staying, but def thought he was moving, hasn't been used much although did come on v Cork. Kenny prob wants to keep him for more options, Kilduff can't play in the Lge cup, then again that's only two games max.

Kilduff was an unused sub in the 2nd round of the FAI Cup. Dunno if that makes him cup tied

It's taken them a while to find a replacement for Derek Foran.

Pretty sure he would have need to have come on in order to be cup tied. But it's the FAI, who knows.

Stephen Kenny confirmed that Kilduff is cup tied for League Cup but able to play in FAI Cup
He went off injured with his thigh strapped up after 20 mins the other night against a some Dublin Select XI in Oriel. Was told it was more a kick on it than muscle pull (hope thats true)
Won 8-1 BTW (No idea what Dublin select we were playing) Kurtis Byrne got 5, Kelly 1, O'Connor 1, Barrett 1
Scratch that. Jake has signed for us.

We've signed Aaron McEneff from Spurs, previously at Institute.
Seems to be highly spoken of.

We are interested in Dennehy but noway could we sign him outright. We couldn't afford his wages. I would say he will sign for Limerick which is disappointing for us. We already missed out on a few good players (Peter Cherrie being one) because Dunne has managed his squad very poorly and his signings have left a lot to be desired. Now he's having to trim his squad.

Depends how much Cork want rid of him. Could see them subsidising his wages rather than pay him the full whack to sit on the bench. You know how tight money is in Cork.

You're right, but money is even tighter in Galway. I think a move to Limerick is logical for all parties. They seem have a bit of clout and the signing of Kelly this morning was an ambitious one to be fair. Some of their supporters are hinting at further additions.

I just reckon Galway don't need him. They are safe, certainly look strong enough as is to stay up anyway, so a move for Dennehy would seem strange.
The only other teams I can think of that need him badly are Derry and Sligo.
Also we have a centre half signing and supposedly a few more unkowns

I would strongly disagree with that opinion. We're FAR from safe and we're after losing two of our most influential players to injury (Connolly and Curran). Our squad is threadbare and we're still pushing on all fronts, we're in both cups and trying to stay away from the dreaded play-off spot. We certainly need to strengthen in a few positions but we've no money to do so it seems.

Patrick Kanyuka signed for Limerick. He looked a really decent player in the game against MK Dons
Dundalk sign Sean Maguire.

That's a strange signing. No doubting his ability, but he's really struggled for form ever since leaving Waterford. Didn't exactly set the league alight with Sligo last season.

His last couple of months he was excellent for us. Playing on the wing as opposed to up front.

Judging by Kenny's recent track record of making men out of potentially decent players, I'm expecting Maguire to turn into a 25 goal a season beast by this time next year.

He seemed to be doing well with Accrington surprised they didn't keep him on.

Bolger and Browne was the rumour, as mentioned Bolger is staying but not sure what's going on with Browne now that we've signed McEleney.
Is McEleney any good by the way??

Is Marc Griffin not still with Bohs or he is out injured. Good move for Jake Kelly by the way, looked a decent prospect, just wasn't getting games.

He's alright. I imagine he won't be starting for ye's.
He can be a good defender on his day, but he has a tendency to to make one calamitous mistake per match.
Luke Fitzpatrick (Dublin Bus) to Bray Wanderers
He should really have got the DART, it's much handier
Robert Waters (Cobh Ramblers) to Finn Harps
Not sure about this one. Noone I've spoken to knows anything about this transfer. Hope I'm wrong though!
Mirror are reporting David Cassidy to Cork...

Good player would certainly add something different to Harps.
