Decided to take in the Brazil/Peru game. Brazil still very iffy I think, and so reliant on Neymar. But when he is making passes like his assist for Douglas, it's very understandable. My jaw actually dropped: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHmQRXiKQOI

Have to say, I don't think I've ever seen a set of such completely useless TV angles! Not one of them really caught the pass.

I have been meaning to call Setanta all week to get this on my Sky box. There's a job for later.

Bear in mind that it's not on Setanta Ireland. I've been watching ropey streams of Premier Sports. Very surprised that no other UK broadcaster is covering it.

It's on Setanta 1 with a Premier Sports feed as always.

Mexico out at group stages. Apparently they only sent a second string, being far more concerned with Gold Cup later this year.

Regardless, Miguel Herrera was furious with the substandard Mexican performance, by the (substandard) team he selected, but they did manage to make Ecuador look like Brazil, therefore the game was entertaining.

Chile go 1-0 up against 10-man Uruguay. Cavani sent off for slapping Jara after Jara shoved his finger up Cavani's bum.

Uruguay ended with 9 men in the end. You'd have thought Suarez being absent would point to less likelihood of that happening.
