Bob is a hero!!!!!!!
The new series is good but Matt,Kurt and Brian arent in it. However its still essential viewing on a tuesday night.

New Series (no.4?) is fairly poor from what i've seen. 3 new lad characters not good.

This is near criminal. I mean honestly, people who find 'Teachers' entertaining are depriving people with taste who are starved of air every time you take a breath :D

It's on TV3, Teachers has got to be better than a Victoria Principle "heartwarming" made for TV movie? :D

True but most of what's on TV3 is reconstituted drivel from ITV/C4/Five. The only (non-sport) shows they have worth watching are THe Shield and SVU.
I find it watchable, but not that good. It's a kind of curious mixture of the real and the surreal (why do Brian and Kurt have the minds of 4 year olds when they are supposed to have teaching degrees?). It has its moments though.
Still no beating Survivor on TG4. Poor Rory is a bit isolated but fighting his corner well. Neelo and Oz are good too.
Thursday night is Pool night (the game, not the scousers obviously), so kinda lost track of this survivor...

Haven't got into this series of The Shield at all - thought the first series was brilliant. Think the whole Vic character shifts is wearing a bit thin now...

I'll try and bite my tongue with regards to Survivor. Oz is quality, definitely one of HBO's best shows. TG4 got it after one of TV3's bigwigs reportedly (well according to Ian O'Doherty) that "the Irish people weren't ready for it".
Incidentally if you haven't gathered yet, as with many things, when it comes to television I'm a snob and I'm proud.
