this one has flown under the radar a little, the U21 side are playing England C, comprised of non-league players, in Galway in two weeks

The England squad was announced a few days ago: http://www.thefa.com/news/england/development/2015/may/england-c-squad-named-for-ireland-friendly

According to QPR's website Reece Grego-Cox and Ryan Manning are on standby for the U21 squad: http://www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/reece-grego-cox-ryan-manning-ireland-under-21s-standby-2461765.aspx
Read on twitter that U19 keeper Liam Bossin has been called up too.

It's been well-established at this point that the diehards at YBIG have everything long before the part-timers here.

Is there a full squad list for these games yet? I can't seem to find it. I've only heard a few names who are included.

My mistake, though I saw somewhere that Goodwin had been released from Brighton, but it turns out he signed a contract extension in February: http://www.seagulls.co.uk/news/article/goodwin-agrees-contract-extension-1372415.aspx
Maguire's contract is up this summer at West Ham, and there's been no news about an extension.

Looks like Garmston has left West Brom according to Twitter

Just want to say a big thank you to everyone at @WBAFCofficial All the coaches, staff & players that have helped with my growth & development as a player. Also like to say a big thank you to all the fans for their constant support & encouragement! Emotional times after being at the club for 8 years, but I'm very optimistic about the future & can't wait for next season⚽️😏

Unfortunately it turns out I was right, Goodwin has been released by Brighton, I was searching for "Shamir Goodwin", but he's also known as "Shamir Fenelon": www.seagulls.co.uk/news/article/brighton-hove-albion-under-21s-retained-list-2454987.aspx

Meanwhile, six players have been released, with Bradley Barry, Shamir Fenelon, George Cole, Cameron Wiltshire, Danny Pappoe and Jimmy Muitt not being offered new deals.

And confirmation of Maguire's release from West Ham: www.whufc.com/News/Articles/2015/May/28-May/Hammers-confirm-Retain-List

Young professionals Kieran Bywater, Sean Maguire, Paul McCallum and Dan Potts will also depart the Boleyn Ground after not being offered new contracts.

2-1 for England C. They went 2-0 up before Sean Maguire got an 81st minute goal.

From what I read we were battering them for most of it but got stung by two long-range efforts within a couple of minutes.

FAI really need to get there act together and get a decent U21 manager in. We really should be beating a team of conference players, King haset a clue and his record is as sh1t as Don Givens's

Stuttgart88

Maybe you're right but not King's fault if Sweeney can't score from a yard. I'd also be careful not to assume that a bunch of 19-20 year olds, no matter how good, should be beating a team of mature, experienced semi-pros (if that's what they were).

Our youngsters were also getting lumps kicked out of them so they had to alter to play to the conditions.
