FAI Technical development plan

what is the story with the technical development plan launched by Packie Bonner and the FAI http://www.fai.ie/Techd1.pdf. It is estimated that its going to cost in the region of €25million.

Is the government going to fund it and the start date is meant to be 2004 but I havent heard much about it.

Was that linked to the cash FAI was gonna get for giving up EP & getting in behind Bertie Bowl?

No this is a very recent thing. Its only completed a few months ago if my memory serves me right. The FAI said it was confident of getting funding from the government and I think its meant to cost €25 million. However I havent heard much about it since.
