Well that was...dreadful. The PA announcer, worse than awful. Announcing the teams, goalscorers, subs might seem to be part of job but nobody told the muppet with the mic. Announcing the score at the end was very helpful though. As for the football, very uninspiring indeed. Typical enough Mathews style though, if in doubt boot it long. And as for the numbers of corners that sailed over everyone's heads and out the far side, how hard could it be to get something like that right? We desperately need a goalscorer, without one we're in the mire. Why was Scully warming up but not brought on? On tonight's showing, it'll be a long season with little to cheer about.
