Just got it, but won't get a listen till lunch. €14.95 in tesco btw, on line it's €13.99, so not a bad price (no idea what HMV and the like are charging).

Will be purchasing in Tesco aswell at lunch time I reckon. Feck those gobsh1tes in HMV and Tarnished Golden Discs.
Heard most of it on Tom Dunne last nite and it sounds pretty good and I'm sure will improve the more I listen to it. Thought the last album was their best so far so if it is anyway near as good as it I'll be happy.

No can do, as I'm on a half day

Personally I think there are some really good songs on it,some ok songs and some not so good.I think it's been hyped up too much and just think it's a bit overratted myself.I thought Ian Brown's Solarized cd was much better and would get my vote for album of the year.

Well done D12 (ha)
Brown is coolest man in world.
The songs just sound brilliant.
Nothing else like him out there.
Wouldn't wanna see him live though.

however, i don't wish to see him perform live.
He's so good that he must deserve life more than anyone i know.

I was at that gig $leon$ and it was the worst I've ever seen IB play he was all over the place for some reason on that night but normally he does a good show.
Saying that though I think the manics are a pile of poo and I was only there that night to see IB so it might be a case of different strokes for different folks that you don't like him.

Anyone at a Manics gig obviously has no taste, so I'll take that as a good thing....

Anyone ever hear of a programme called LimeWire Pro. I know it works on MACs. Its a free music downloading service. Know a few people who have already downloaded the new U2 album with it.

The Manic Street Preachers - Richie + about 12 years = bland (sad to say, but there's no comparison between generation terrorists and any of the more recent albums)

haven't heard all the new album yet.
have to agree that the early GT stuff and THB are prob da best but da newer stuff is still miles ahead of some of the cr@p been turned out these days by others
Well, yes. I was only comparing them to themselves, not to the other dross around now.
Reminds me of the Patti Smith story. Someone commented how she hasn't done anything nearly as good as 'Horses'. Her reply was that no-one else had either.

Any artist that would prefer to go to Cavan than play Cork can go and sh*te.
Would have went though, haven't seen him since The Roses played the Pairc Ui Caoimh.
He was booked into the Opera House and then its cancelled and hes off to Cavan, they can have him.

I know it's wrong to download music but when I downloaded the U2 album it has 15 tracks. Were the extra 3 foreign releases only or were they on the first few copies?
