Bit disappointing that he never seemed to cement a place Preston after playing over 20 league games and scoring four times in 2012/13 - seemed to be a bit-part player this year. That said, he's not yet 21 so hopefully he can get regular action at Notts County and get his career back on an upward trajectory. Has anybody here seen him play? Does he have potential for the future?

Brendan Moloney had signed on loan for Northampton at the start of this window but he's turned that into a permanent deal for the next 3 and a half years- which is quite the contract for League 2.

He'll be soon joined in the town of Northampton by Munster Rugby's JJ Hanrahan to add to the Kerry contingent of sportsmen there!

All the best to Burke there. I noticed on Wiki that he, Carruthers and Drennan all signed 2 year deals in the summer of 2013 so Drennan and Carruthers have got out early and one suspects that Burke's next move or contract hinges on this loan deal.

Ronan Murray doesn't seem to have kicked on this season from that streak he went on last season at a struggling Notts County. Paul Hart has come in as caretaker there and I don't think he has a connection or priors with either player.

Very good move. He was with Poole Town in the Southern Premier League (I think that's the next one below Conference South). Managed a return of 6 goals in 9 league games for Poole (http://www.pooletownfc.co.uk/player-statistics-201415/) so he impressed sufficiently to make that jump up.
