STACK CHARGED WITH RAPE
http://www.sportinglife.com/football/news/story_get.dor?STORY_NAME=soccer/04/11/17/SOCCER_Stack_Snap.html&TEAMHD=soccer
Arsenal footballer Graham Stack was today charged with raping a 21-year-old girl at his home, Scotland Yard said.

The 23-year-old goalkeeper, who is on loan at Millwall, was charged following the alleged rape in Beckenham, south east London on September 1.

Stack, a Republic of Ireland Under-21 international, was bailed to appear at Bromley Magistrates Court on November 23.

Stack played throughout Arsenal's run to the Carling Cup semi-finals last season and is on loan at Millwall until the end of the season.

Allan Smillie, 22, an operations analyst, of Feltham, south west London, was also charged with sexual assault on the same date. He will also appear at Bromley Magistrates Court on November 23.

Innocent of course until prove guilty of course ... but maybe Kerr knew about this, and that is the reason he was left out of recent squads. Actually, no maybe about it.

So next time people give about why Kerr would pick Colgan ahead of Stack .. maybe he has a reason and we should trust his reasons. Not insinuating anything about Harte, but maybe Kerr has his own private reasons there too for not having him in the suqad (other than being a poor defender).

Anyone else think that the amount of footballers who seem to get themselves into these positions of accusation is disproportional to statistical norms. In that the mentality of the footballer (ego etc) seems to increase the chances of this happening ten fold.

Is being crap no longer a good enough reason on its own?

Their financial situation and that same mentality makes them easy targets for false allegations too. As someone said, we wait for a court judgement.
