Couldn't find any previous mention of this guy on the forum - made his senior debut for Arsenal last night away to Galatasaray.

England u-17 international according to this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stefan_O'Connor), but I wonder if he might go the way of Ciaran Clark and wind up declaring for us further down the line? No guarantee he's eligible of course, but the name alone should demand that enquiries are made!

Anyone have any further info on a possible Ireland link for this guy?

I'm not being smart here but it's very unlikely he is eligible for Ireland. He is born in England and he is not mixed race. There are plenty of Americans and British people with Irish surnames who have no links to the country i.e. Shaquille O'Neal, Jermaine O'Neal.....

It could be cleared up by asking him politely on Twitter. I'm sure you would engender a response.
