Just a quote off the news section on their official site:

Shelbourne FC Supporters Club are holding a general meeting for all members + friends on Wednesday evening 30th January at 9.00pm, in the main bar at Tolka Park.

Dermot Keely and Noel King will both attend and participate in a Question & Answer session.
As usual the format will also include a general discussion and a fun quiz.

All welcome – registered / unregistered / improperly registered
typical shelbourne. normal club news, ruined by a pathetic and childish swipe at pats.

Shelbourne Football Club heard today, through the media, the result of the ?Paul Marney? arbitration hearing. The club has not yet been afforded the courtesy of being informed officially of the decision, which we note was produced in a very short period of time.
Shelbourne FC is appalled at the failure to uphold the rules of the eircom League and the Football Assocition of Ireland, and will, over the next few days, consider it's position

well EXCUUUUUUUUSE us oh mighty $hel$. and they accuse Pats of running the league- HA! shels were invited to the arbitration and refused to attend- tough.

well Eanna i agree with $hel$ this time. Pats have gotten away with murder. Dont forget City were deducted points for the same offence and the deduction stood. Are the rules different depending on the club?

They didnt attend the arbitration because they didnt recognise it as legal or something to that effect.....

While on the outset it seems like $hel$ are moaning as the decision didn't go their way I think there is a bit more to the matter.

Since $hel$ are one of the parties involved in the arbitration they would appear to have had a right to agree to the arbitrator. If all parties to a dispute don't agree on the arbitrator then any ruling isn't much good is it? I think $hel$ may have objected to the arbitrator in the first place & maybe thats why they didn't appear at the hearing.

I think $hel$ rightly or wrongly are going to pursue this all the way to the end wherever that leads them.........
