According to rte news Keith long is the new bohemians manager. Excellent appointment for them I think.

Lot of people wanted Roddy but for me Long was the right choice. Will work well with the board and with a small budget. Did very well at Athlone, even though they went down. Considering they were dead and buried when he arrived, they nearly pulled off the great escape.

What do the Athlone lads on here think of him?

I'm surprised so many Bohs fans were so naive as to want Roddy back.He doesn't give a toss about any of the clubs he manages its all about his ego.In Long Bohs have a decent football man, good appointment.

Happy with that. Came across in interviews as an intelligent articulate man, that will certainly mark him out as different in this league
