Not strictly LOI but....

http://www.irishleaguesupporters.com/

Always found this forum to be very friendly & is decent for keeping track on LOI players who now play in the NIFL.
Handy also for getting info on players who maybe signing from the North to your team.

Same signing up criteria as here but don't think you can view it if you're not a member?

Hello

Is there a comprehensive LOI results, including line ups if possible, archive resource available anywhere ?

Any help much appreciated.

No, not online anyway. In fact I'd say most clubs don't even have historical line ups

Hello

Is there a comprehensive LOI results, including line ups if possible, archive resource available anywhere ?

Any help much appreciated.

best thing is go to your own library and get access to results, scorers and lineouts. Thats where I get my info from for the stats on our website.

Any gaps the national library of ireland in kildare st is excellent -I believe they stock all newspapers and can be more comprehensive than the local library ie in my case The Longford Leader went on strike for 9 mths in 1983 and I couldnt get access to the Longford News in 1983 in Longford Library but the National Library have it!

any questions dont hesistate to ask me!

Do any teams/fans in the First Division do highlights? I remember Shels did a few years ago but that seems to be gone. The First Division is easily forgotten as it is so just wondering is there a way to follow it more closely for the people who want to?

Travels With The Blues is an online blog that follows Waterford United around. They usually have some sort of highlights of games.

Limerick have done highlights for their first two games this season.

ShelsTV covers the odd game here and there now, nothing like it used to though unfortunately.

Cabinteely put up their own goals from time to time on their Facebook page.

Cobh Ramblers sometimes put up goals on Facebook or Youtube. From an awkward angle though, seemingly on top of the clubhouse or something behind the goals.

New podcast launched today called the Between the Stripes LOI podcast. For anyone familiar with BTS (www.betweenthestripesblog.wordpress.com) it's an unofficial longford town fans site but this podcast, while focusing on Longford for periods each week, is a general LOI and Irish football podcast. Guests this week of note include Stephen Henderson and Nathan Kelly from Eir sport. Youl have to forgive certain bits of sound quality especially the phone interviews as we are still waiting on the correct equipment to arrive. Overall tho not bad for total newbies to this craic. Massive shout to Nigel for helping us get set up. Any and all support appreciated as we are doing this from our own pocket.

Listened to it today , thought it was very good. Sound quality on the phones particularly the first one was very bad but if your getting sorted then that's not an issue. It's great to see more loi podcasts the rovers one is good as is the newstalk one. It's great to listen to an INFORMED view about the league

Thanks very much yeah sadly we ordered equipment a few weeks ago but when it arrived it wasn't right and had to send it back so waiting for refunds to go through and all that palalva set us back but we wanted to get the show up and running during the mid season break especially with the big news at Longford. Thanks for the feedback and hopefully we will
Have the equipment with us soon

Episode 2 available here - Finally got a decent microphone so you should notice a marked improvement in sound quality. Great content and interviews again this week. Still more equipment to come so it will only get better week by week. 427 listeners last week which was way more than I expected. - https://m.mixcloud.com/BetweenTheStripes/between-the-stripes-loi-podcast-episode-2/ #BTSLOIPOD ‬

Yeah, they do the graphics work for the club. Some superb poster work over the past few years. I believe they're involved in the match programme design this year too.

Hi everyone,

I hope the admins won’t mind me posting this here but I’m currently looking for LOI fans that may have some sort of experience in putting together video content. As any of you who follow my website/podcast may know, Between the Stripes TV is launching in 2019. Essentially it will consist of post match fans, players and managers interviews from as many games as we can possibly cover combined into a weekly show. At the moment I’ve got people to cover Longford, Dundalk, UCD and Wexford so if you or anyone you know might be interested in conducting such interviews next season please drop me an email on betweenthestripes1924@gmail.com

All you need is a phone capable of recording HD footage but obviously anyone that has fancy recording equipment are more than welcome. Thanks everyone.

New Finn Harps website launched on Wednesday night.

Couple more features to be added but it looks great. Built by Diaga.ie, Harps official design partners who do all the match posters and match programme too.

Mobile site is very handy used too, but the site looks it best on desktop.

Between the Stripes TV pre season special. Footage from a number of friendly matches and interviews with the likes of Fenn, Buckley, Butler, McGlade and Cronin. Only fault with it was the studio mic didn't record so audio isn't great in studio clips but all other Interviews are spot on.

Great job that. Sort out the studio mic and less of the music over highlights and you're sorted. Maybe a little voice-over on game footage.

Bit more of that would be a most welcome addition to league coverage.

Bumped into an unexpected friend at the game and he chatted whole way through match footage so decided music was best so not to cause any player offense with his mouth haha. Yeah studio mic was my error, didn't save the correct file. Certainly something to build on.

Hoping to launch the brand new Between the Stripes match day live service on Mixlr tonight. Basically, our aim is to have a featured game for live online commentary once a week (or as close to that as possible). First question everyone will ask is will it just be all LTFC games. Answer is no, simply using LTFC V Cockhill tonight as a test run to see if I've got the right set up and equipment but LTFC will probably be the only team we won't cover as I already have local radio commitments for their games.

You can follow the next Mixlr account here with tonight's first broadcast scheduled for 7:40pm
