good report AOB,cracking game,a bit of everthing in it Boro not at their best for long periods, hugely reliant on the performances of Brazier ,Hurley and the impressive Glasheen.Regional not for the first time did not seem to have the bottle to finish it off when it was there for the taking, some questionable and non questionable sideline decisions by their mgt hardly helped their performance.

Yeah, Janesboro were missing three quarters of their first-choice midfield to be fair.
Just as a point of interest, Fairkop - what decisions from the Regional sideline did you disagree with?

Just as a point of interest, Fairkop - what decisions from the Regional sideline did you disagree with?Well given the right full could not handle Brazier, waiting well into the second half to effect change seemed too late when damage there started early in the game..moving O connel from his position in behind lad up front handed more control to Boro they were all at sea with him up until then ,thats just two,all about opinions i suppose, two Regional fans alongside me seemed to suggest the player manager was not happy with decisions or lack of from sideline.

Anyone else got predictions who will get to the semi-finals?
St Michales v Carrick will be a cracker!
Delighted to see a club from my home county reach the 1/4 final. Dynamos have assembled one of the best squads a kerry team has seen in years, hope they can get through!

Abbey were a big price in the last round as well: bookies clearly don't rate a team in form at the top of their table?

Hi guys. Will that game to ahead in abbeyfeale tomorrow v janesboro. I think it will be very difficult to stop boro this season an would be my favourites for competition. I have seen them recently and are impressive but hopefully abbey can compete and make a game of it, what do others think? Will it be a game worth going to see?

Abbey vs boro will be a good game. Id say it will go ahead alright. I think boro will win but it will be close. Abbey aren't a bad team and ain't top of the Desmond league for nothing

Went to abbey v boro yest, 3 nil would suggest it was totally dominated by boro but dat could not be further from truth. Abbey had a stone wall pen aft 15 mins turned down an were playing better football when they went goal down which looked like a keeper mistake just before the break, abbey came out an played better football but conceded the second from another free from an unmarked Clarke header at far post(hard to believe he had so much space), from there on boro showed there class an pushed on. It must be said at one up boro keeper made great save from abbey sub, which cud have changed game, I said already I think boro will win it as they look like they have serious squad. Good game of football, well justified the 3 euro entry fee!!

I will be travelling from the kingdom to watch this one on sunday! Dynamos have been in great form, only beating in one game since start of season. Does anyone know what type of game we are in for from the home side!!

The home side gave absolutely nothing in this game, don't think they had one shot on target. Tralee Dynamos dominated the game and when they went 2-0 up the foot came off the pedal in the second half. Derek o Brien was my man of the match.

Interestingly, St.Michaels played six games to the quarter-final, nine and a half hours of football and never conceded a goal, 3-0, 3-0, 7-0, 1-0, 3-0 0-0, until the penalty shoot-out. Having said that I reckon a Carrick v Janesboro final, two top class teams.

Really looking forward to the Janesboro v Tralee Dynamos game. If Tralee can replicate the first have on sunday over 90 mins v boro i think it will be a tight game. Two very good teams and a talented kerry team who like yo play football unlike most in the county.

Great result for Tralee Dynamos. The better team won on the day. I thought Janesboro would have too much especially with Tralee missing Shane Guthrie aswel. Derek o Brien still has it and was a thorn for boro.
They will have a great chance down here in Tralee in the final now against Carrick

Tralee very worthy winners and played better football than Janesboro.Tralee had their experienced players in all the right areas and were always in control.Janesboro a major disappointment, none of their big players turned up and like AOB,s report says this route one to Clarke ,a recipe for disaster, had the Boro more appropiate players for this tie on the bench?should be a cracking final.

I definitely agree that Tralee's experienced lads looked to be in full control once they equalized. They never panicked. It could be the case that many boro players may have had one eye on on the final. They never got going and were very one dimensional in their play going long up to Clarke whereas Tralee played good football and could mix it up.
Dynamos are well equipped and will be a very good opponent for Carrick down in Tralee

Dynamos expecting a four-figure crowd on Sunday, and the extensive coverage in the local papers should certainly boost attendance. Would be a major achievement for the local game if they do pull it off, on a par with the Youth Cup finals or the U-21 KDL team.

Have no fear have seen both teams Carrick v Moyross.and Tralee Dyn v Janesboro and out of the 4 Tralee were the best by far.My few schillings will be on them anyways. Is Shane Guthrie available?

In fairness against Moyross if we took our chances we would have won handy. On Sunday we blew Dynamos off the park from the first whistle. I think the occassion might have got to them and losing Derek O'Brien early was a major hinderence. Great end to a season for us winning our 3rd Munster Junior Cup looking forward already to defending it.
